High school athletes will get one final opportunity to achieve qualifying standards for the GraceKennedy/ISSA Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships, at any of two last-chance meets that will be held tomorrow.

In Angels, Spanish Town, it will be the 25th staging of the G.C. Foster College Classic on the school grounds, while in Kingston at Ashenheim Stadium, Jamaica College, Blade Athletics will stage the Coaches Last Chance Track and Field Meet.

At G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sports, top senior local and international athletes will also be competing.

One of last year's outstanding athletes at the ISSA Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships, Sabrina Dockery, formerly of Lacovia High School, will make her professional debut when she competes in the women's Clubs and Colleges 100 metres, the second event on the track.

Dockery, who clocked 11.08 seconds to win the Class One event at 'Champs' last year, is now training overseas. She will clash with national senior representatives Ashanti Moore, Shashalee Forbes and Jodean Williams of Sprin Tec.

The meet, which will get under way at 8:30 a.m., will also see the Clubs and Colleges' men in action with a strong core of Sprin Tec athletes leading the way, headed by the in-form Sandrey Davison. Kadrian Goldson and Odaine McPherson, while Emmanuel Archibald of Swept Track Club and the vastly-improved Rasheed Foster should also make their presence felt.

Another interesting event among the seniors will see World Senior Championships representative Shiann Salmon of Sprin Tec contesting the women's 400m hurdles, where last year's ISSA Girls' Open champion, Kelly-Ann Carr of Edwin Allen, will also be in action.

High school athletes will compete on the track in the 200m, 400m, 800m, all sprint hurdles and the 2000m steeplechase. In the field, there will be the high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus and javelin.
