It was pure fire and flavour in Yallahs on Sunday as the St Thomas Curry Festival transformed the Yallahs Primary School field into a sizzling paradise of colour, rhythm, and irresistible aromas.

From curried shrimp to spicy goat, chicken, pork, and even fish -- if it could curry, it was there!

Promoter Wanda, the man behind Double Scoops Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlour in Albion, beamed with pride as he looked around at the massive turnout.

"This is my way of giving back to the people of St Thomas who've supported me and my brand over the years," he said.

"The festival is only in its third year, and it's already outgrown itself -- people from all over have come to savour the goodness!"

Adding prestige to the spicy affair was Juliet Holness, member of parliament for St Andrew East Rural and wife of Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness. She was all smiles as she mingled with patrons, especially the children, during a heart-warming meet-and-greet session.

But the real eruption came when 16-year-old TikTok sensation Lyrii hit the stage. The crowd went wild for the social media star, who brought explosive energy and undeniable charisma to his performance. Singing his viral hits, Lyrii had fans -- especially the teens -- screaming every lyric, waving their phones, and begging for an encore.

Supporting acts Qrulen, Substance, and Lavish kept the momentum high with solid sets of their own, while the Double Scoop Twins turned up the heat with their electrifying dance routines.
